Get College Credits for your Cyber Security Training
According to ISACA, there will be a global shortage of two million cyber security professionals by 2019. Meanwhile, cloud security firm CloudPassage found that only one in the top 36 computer science programs in the United States requires a security course for graduation. There is an obvious disparage here, between demand in cyber security skills and education of those skills.
Knowing this reality, CyberTraining 365 has engaged with many strategic partnerships which aim to help fill this disparage, deemed the cyber security skills-gap. We’ve partnered with OperationCode and other organizations to offer free cyber security training to veterans. Teaming up with the Women in Cyber Security Conference, we were able to offer scholarships to their members and plan to have an ongoing scholarship program with them.
Most recently, we’ve teamed up with the American Business and Technology University (ABTU) to ensure the graduates of their tech programs get the comprehensive training they need to improve students’ security skills of their development, operations, machine learning and other programs.
Through this partnership, ABTU students can earn up to 30 college credits, at a discounted rate, through their coursework on CyberTraining 365! Even better, students who have completed one of the approved courses within the last three years, can still put that course-work towards their credits. All you need to do is submit your CyberTraining 365 transcripts to ABTU when enrolling and you will be notified within 10 days if your courses transfer into credits. Now, if you’re here, you likely know (at least a little) about us and what we do, so let me tell you a little bit about the admirable mission of the American Business and Technology University and what they offer.
American Business and Technology University (ABTU)
With the American Business and Technology University, students can earn their short-term industry certifications, diploma, associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees with tuition rates at half of the national average. Proving their dedication to cost-effective education and training today’s workforce, ABTU provides relevant diplomas and certifications that are both affordable and manageable for those with families and who are already working full or part-time jobs.
ABTU offers interactive, online classes including online tests, video tutorials and recorded lectures so that students have the resources they need to achieve their educational goals without having to put their lives on hold. In this way, ABTU and CyberTraining 365 share similar missions.
On top of their commitment to affordable and manageable education, ABTU also ensures that class sizes are no more than 30 students in one course, so that students can get consistent contact and attention from instructors. Accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), ABTU has a great track record of getting their alumni hired in their field, and with similar partnerships such as their Wounded Warrior Scholarship, share CyberTraining 365’s commitment to getting veterans and other disenfranchised, but valuable members of society into the workforce.
College Credits for Cyber Security Training
